But back the conversation on extreme sports, and no such discussion would be complete without the mention of one Shane McMahon.

It’s kind of hard to comprehend the insanity of some of Shane’s elbow drops—especially in today’s PG climate. But thanks to the wonder of the internet, these moments will never be forgotten.

Like Punk and Ambrose, the elbow through the announce table was a staple part of Shane’s moveset. But such instances simply pale in comparison to the near-suicidal elbow drops that Shane O’Mac hit from the top of the TitanTron. Yes, you read that correctly, and yes, that was plural.

The first incidence arrived at Backlash 2001 in a Last Man Standing match with the Big Show (see above), with the second coming two years later at Unforgiven in a match with Kane of the same stipulation.

The fact that Shane isn’t even a full-time wrestler—by trade, really, he’s a businessman—makes these moves all the more incredible. The sheer stupendousness of the younger McMahon’s elbow drops make him well worth of a top five spot on this list.
