‘The Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase had been searching for a new talent to hold his prestigious ‘Million Dollar Championship’. Long rumored to be a financial benefactor of the show, DiBiase naturally allowed the big news to break on The Brother Love Show.
DiBiase would introduce a very familiar face as his new protege. Steve Austin was given the name ‘The Ringmaster’ and awarded the ‘Million Dollar Championship’.
