1. Jushin Liger

Does the fact that Jushin Thunder Liger is over 50 and still performing moves that could make Rey Mysterio wet himself with admiration make anyone feel like the least athletic person in the world? No?

...Anyone?

Since the mid-80s, Liger has been flying through the air like a rocket that took one too many bumps of cocaine while dressed like a villain from the Power Rangers. And he did it all while maintaining pitch-perfect execution on every front, not just while soaring majestically through the air.

As a pure wrestler, Liger is right up there with Ricky Steamboat, although Liger's more liberal use of dive-bombs and top rope power moves puts him in a class entirely of his own.

Watching Jushin Liger work his way through a match, effortlessly blending aerial attacks, pure mat skills, and most importantly, solid ring psychology was like watching a music conductor who  liked to set the tempo to thrash metal speeds.

Though he was at his prime during the early part of the 90s, but it was obvious seeing him step into the ring against Tyler Breeze in 2015 that, even at his slowest, Jushin Liger is better than most superstars could ever hope to be.

And the commentators were absolutely right to call him a "once in a lifetime performer".
