"Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!" may have been the call had Jim Ross been working for WCW when Jeff Jarrett took acoustic action on Howard Stern hanger-on Beetlejuice midway through a typically turgid 2000 edition of Monday Nitro.

The one-off visual gag would normally be sufficient in giving writer Vince Russo a giggle, but of all the things to attach some longterm significance to, this guitar shot eventually dictated the fate of the WCW World Heavyweight Title.

The following, Jarrett and Booker T fought over the once-prestigious gold in a 'San Francisco 49ers' match. The belt was hidden in one of four boxes hanging from poles because of course it was, but it barely seemed to matter after the foes had already retrieved a coal miners glove, a sex doll, and a framed photo of Scott Hall.

In a match almost taking pleasure in the filth and fury of the wrestling business, a clean finish wasn't to be expected, but a cheap one featuring the much-maligned miniature superhero. Rebounding from his head shot the prior week, Beetlejuice remerged to strike Jarrett in the groin, rendering his grasp for the final box futile.
