10 Greatest In-Ring Alliances In WWE Royal Rumble History
4. Dolph Ziggler, Randy Orton & Rey Mysterio - 2019
"Greatest in-ring alliance" might be a bit generous here, but the 2019 Royal Rumble did provide one of the most unique unions in WWE history.
After making it to the final three but failing to win the Women's Royal Rumble match, Nia Jax surprised fans by attacking R-Truth on his way to the Men's bout.
Recklessly tossing Truth about, she managed to leave John Cena's Biggest Fan unable to compete. For whatever reason, the referees decided it was OK for Jax to take it upon herself to enter the ring.
As the fourth woman to ever enter the Men's Rumble, Jax plowed through several wrestlers until her overzealous efforts came back to haunt her.
In a rare instance of intergender competition for WWE, Dolph Ziggler, Rey Mysterio, and Randy Orton all teamed up to deliver their finishers on Jax before tossing her out of the ring. None of these men had much in common to align them in such a way, but they also weren't in the mood to allow Jax to hijack this partiuclar Rumble match.
