Billy and Benny McGuire were listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “World’s Heaviest Twins.” At 784 pounds and 814 pounds respectively, the North Carolina boys defined the carnival attraction appeal of pro wrestling’s roots.

Before entering the squared circle, they were spokesmen for Honda, in which they rode mini-bikes 3,000 miles from New York to Los Angeles, where they appeared on “The Tonight Show.”

They were trained by Gory Guerrero, patriarch of the famous Guerrero family, and once again traveled cross-country, this time for competition. Their act was short-lived, however, as Billy died in 1979 at the age of 32 following a motorcycle accident on his way to “Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!”.

Benny died in 2001 at the age of 54 due to heart failure.
