10 Greatest Tag Team Matches In WWE WrestleMania History

7. Ahmed Johnson & The Legion Of Doom Vs. The Nation Of Domination (WrestleMania 13)

WrestleMania 13 is known as a one-match show, and for good reason. Near the top of the card is the famous Steve Austin-Bret Hart submission match that featured blood, brawling, and the famous double turn that saw Stone Cold become the top face in the company. It's a classic, to be sure, and it's rightfully remembered as the highlight of the show.

However, I would like to make a case for the match that immediately followed: a Chicago street fight that pitted Ahmed Johnson & The Legion of Doom against Farooq, Crush, and Savio Vega of the Nation of Domination.

It was going to be an impossible task to top such an iconic match during that show. However, I would contend that in this 10-minute hardcore battle, these six men laid the foundation for WWE's style of wrestling for years going forward.

The match is brief, features every kind of weapon you can imagine (Hawk literally brings in a kitchen sink to subvert the cliche), and is just a cavalcade of whacky spots and weapon shots. It's illogical, absurd, but compelling to watch. It's the Attitude Era and the soon-to-be hardcore division wrapped into one match.

If you haven't gotten the chance to check this one out, see for yourself what I'm talking about.
