10 Greatest Wrestling Brawlers Of All Time

8. Fit Finlay

The mark of a great brawler is in making every hit looking as realistic as possible. And in that regard, very few have managed to exceed the level of authenticity Finlay packed into those fiery shots of his.

Most impressively however, is that Finlay achieved this without genuinely doing any damage to his opponents, a trait that so many on this list couldn't quite grasp. Guys loved working with Finlay because they knew they were in good hands. In fact, Lance Storm famously said "I would take a thousand piledrivers from Finlay over one snapmare from some workers." That should tell you everything you need to know about his work ethic.

He's a real wrestler's wrestler, and no slouch in the technical aspects of wrestling, either. Finlay often draws comparisons to another famous brawler/technician: William Regal. But for my money, there's no debate as to who was more entertaining to watch inside (or outside) the ring. Honestly, Regal would probably agree with that assessment himself.

Even though he employed more of a brawling style to fit his character, there was never anything sloppy about the way Finlay worked. His solid technical background was an asset, even if he didn't mold his move set around it.
