10 Greatest Wrestling Brawlers Of All Time

6. Steve Austin

True, Steve Austin wasn't always known for his brawling style. In fact, back in his days as 'Stunning' Steve Austin, he was quite the athletic mat tactician. But then Owen Hart went ahead and broke his neck with a botched piledriver, and forced the Rattlesnake to adjust his style.

Luckily, it just so happened that Stone Cold was the type of character that could make a simplistic brawling style look like the only way he should be wrestling.

Although his move set never moved far beyond the basic principal of 'Find Opponent and Smash Opponent's Face With Knuckles', the crowd ate up every last pummeling he gave. The answer to "How many times can you watch a guy stomp a mudhole in someone?" was a resounding "ALL THE TIMES!"

It certainly didn't hurt that the person he was most often obliterating was his boss, Vince McMahon. He allowed us to live out our fantasy of walking into the office on Monday and unleashing the fury of a thousand fists on our own bosses and somehow not getting fired because of it.
