Objectively the strangest bromance in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment, Goldust and Booker T came together in 2002, managing to win tag team gold not long after coming together. Goldust inadvertedly cost Booker a few matches in trying to convince him to become his partner, but instead of reacting with rage Booker decided to throw his lot in with the Bizarre One.

One could expect the duo to be popular, but no one expected them to catch on quite as they did. Their backstage segments became the stuff of legend, as the weird chemistry displayed by the two veterans was clear for all to see. Their tag title reign lasted only 22 days, but their bromance continues on in 2016.

This bromance was largely responsible for Booker T's surge in popularity that led all the way to a World Championship match at WrestleMania XIX, where he heroically vanquished the awful, racist bad guy Triple H. Wait, what?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
