Oh come on, these two went on a double date (kinda) with twins and spent the whole time texting each other. The bromance between Daniel Bryan and Derrick Bateman will forever be one of WWE's biggest missed opportunities of the last few years. The duo had a chemistry that most NXT rookies and pros can only dream of.

The duo bonded over their love of geekdom, chicks, and America. The won a Newlyweds game, proving the strength of their bromance over all. When Bateman was eliminated from NXT Bryan gave him one great inspiring speech as well as punching him in the face. That's love right there.

It's still fairly mind-boggling that WWE didn't seem to see anything in Derrick Bateman. Luckily he has gone on to carve out a serious career for himself in TNA as ECIII.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
