Off and on for fifteen months, Undertaker and Edge had feuded, and this was finally going to be the end of their story. This would be the first Cell match of the bloodless PG era, something most viewers didn't realize until the match ended without a canvas stained in crimson. Even handcuffed by decency, the two still delivered a war.

Making up for that missing visual element, Undertaker and Edge performed table spots and a bump through the side of the cage itself, making Edge one of the earlier wrestlers to cash in on an "OMG" hotspot. Undertaker murdering Edge in the finish was a nice emphatic coda to the eternal story, but even that apparently needed the post-script of Edge being sucked away into the bowels of hell (a concrete floor in Indianapolis is "hell").
