2. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels
In this match, on the other hand, Shawn Michaels was very much directly involved. Back in 1997, he took on the Undertaker (who else?) in the inaugural Hell in a Cell match at In Your house: Badd Blood. And even though it took place almost two decades ago, this match still stands the test of time, thanks largely to the innovativeness of both Michaels and the Undertaker. The soon-to-be legends put on a trademark clinic, and even made good use of the Cell despite their inexperience in their surroundings. They took to the roof of the structure for a tense few minutes, before Michaels fell from (almost) the top and through the nearby announcers table. Oh, and he also beat up a cameraman that made the mistake of getting in his way. Awesome. Perhaps most significantly though, this match saw the infamous debut of Kanethe very same Kane who finds himself in a WWE Championship match some 18 years later at Hell in a Cell 2015. The Big Red Monsterback when he legitimately was onetore of the Cell door before laying out the Undertaker with a Tombstone Piledriver, in what remains one of the most dramatic arrivals in WWE history. A truly memorable debut for both Kane and Hell in a Cell.
