Coming into this match, Big E had recently dropped the IC title to Bad News Barrett, and Rusev was in the midst of an undefeated streak. Just looking at it on paper, it felt like a clash of two big, bad mammoths that would either reignite Big E's momentum or cement Rusev as an unstoppable force.

There obviously wasn't any catch-as-catch-can technical wrestling taking place here, with both men trading brutish strikes and power moves. But considering there was 600 pounds going at it inside the ring, the pacing was remarkable. Besides, any chance to watch Big E spear someone as thick as Rusev off the apron makes for a pretty magical moment.

Rusev's win elevated his streak by giving him a legitimate challenger that tested his abilities while making him look even stronger in the process. And for the time allotted, you just can't get a much better showing from two big men.
