10 Greatest WWE Smackdown Brand PPVs
6. No Way Out 2006
For starters, No Way Out 2006 boasted what is probably the company's best match of that year, in Kurt Angle's narrow World Championship retention over The Undertaker. The half-hour classic is one part WWE Main Event Style brawling, and one part expert submission and pin fall reversals down the scintillating stretch. It's actually something of a lost classic, so check it out if you can.
Chris Benoit's United States Championship win over Booker T and Randy Orton's semi-needless victory over Rey Mysterio (thus winning his WrestleMania title opportunity) balance out an unheralded but quite enjoyable show. Unlike the last two entries, there was nothing embarrassing here to dilute the fun, unless you want to count Tatanka acting as Matt Hardy's deeply underwhelming mystery partner.
