6. La Familia

La Familia came together when Edge returned to WWE and entered an on-screen relationship with SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero in November 2007. 'The Rated-R Superstar' was back atop the mountain when he became a two-time World Heavyweight Champion one month later, with Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins aiding him to victory, before being introduced as the group's latest members a few nights later.

The faction faced stern opposition from Batista and The Undertaker, as well as Chavo Guerrero, who objected to his aunt's relationship with Edge. He soon changed his tune, however, and joined their side after Edge helped him win the ECW Championship in January 2008.

The listless Bam Neely eventually joined the group, who benefited immensely from Vickie's power, with the wheelchair-bound GM continually booking her allies into favourable positions. She was eventually engaged to Edge, and her charges experienced great success in the ring - even Hawkins and Ryder had a taste of gold by winning the Tag Team Championships in July 2008.

It was eventually revealed that Edge had only married Vickie for her power, and their union ended in June 2009. Edge was always the star, but each supporting cast member had a clear role to play and a well-defined relationship with their fellow stablemates, making La Familia one of WWE's most organic recent stables.
