10 Greatest WWE Super Heavyweight Wrestlers
1. The Undertaker
With all he’s achieved since, it’s easy to forget that, on his debut, The Undertaker was presented as little more than A Big Guy. Early appearances centred on his enormousness, as the (billed height) 6’10” phenom laid waste to the roster, no-selling everything and steamrolling his way to the title.
Since then, it’s safe to say things have gone well for the Dead Man. Undertaker is likely the greatest ever character in professional wrestling, and his incredible success is a credit to Mark Calaway as well as creator Vince McMahon.
So brilliant is the gimmick that we tend not to think of him as a giant these days, but the sight of Undertaker flinging himself over the top rope, or performing Old School with cat-like grace, is all the more impactful due to his stature.
Undertaker isn’t just the best big guy in the business, he’s one of the greatest talents the industry has ever had to offer. If he really has laced up his boots for the final time, he’s leaving a legacy that will be nigh on impossible to match.
