10 Hardest Hitters In Wrestling Right Now

9. Oney Lorcan/Danny Burch

Lumped together a) because neither of them have yet had a singles run in NXT that has yet made the most of their fists of fury and b) their fearsome fights made them the most underrated tag team of 2018, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch's bludgeoning bombs add incredible drama to matches that would ironically otherwise lack a little punch.

Their tag team title clash against The Undisputed Era at TakeOver: Chicago was glorious in how it played with the notion that the toughest men can't always win the fight - Lorcan and Burch would have had the measure of snivelling heels Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly in a British back alley but were undone by the caginess of the champions. In any other situation, they shine.

Burch's singles matches are filled to bursting with fistfights, but Lorcan in particular effectively got over on man-to-man mettle alone. His match with Drew McIntyre in 2017 was 'The Chosen One's WWE/NXT return, but was to this point the best thing he's done since returning from the independent circuit. It was a Lorcan match featuring a returning star - the pair brutalised one another in way that Drew couldn't possibly do on Monday Night Raw - no matter how satisfying it might look watching him snap on Dolph Ziggler.
