10 Hardest Hitters In Wrestling Right Now

7. Kenny Omega

'The Best Bout Machine' lacks little bell-to-bell, but amongst the finesse of Kenny Omega's flights of fancy and the finality of his One Winged Angel finisher lies the frightening fury of the V-Trigger.

A wicked-looking (and sounding, thanks to his liberal leg-slapping) running knee, the move perhaps best reflects why much of Seth Rollins' act in 2018 remains a middling tribute to the original vintage. Unlike the often-apprehensive 'Architect', Omega flies at foes without even contemplating a safety stop. Many an opponent has lay prone on the bottom rope awaiting their certain fate, but it's the element of surprise in how rapidly Omega unloads that adds such magic to middle portions of his matches.

Finisher-worthy though rarely a finisher, the V-Trigger creates similar tension. And Omega knows it; the strikes make for believable near-misses in his epics, and simultaneously put over his opponents for their toughness in absorbing such an attack.

It's not even his only killer blow - Omega's chops are as Elite as the rest of his work. Striking isn't Kenny's primary method of assault, but he's sharpened the knife-edge to such a degree that it resonates almost as much as his deadly right knee.
