If you asked a hundred wrestling fans to name the wrestler they wanted to see WWE give a proper push to, we can bet at least 90 of them would mention Cesaro. The man has it all and front and centre of that is one wicked uppercut.

And it’s a thing of beauty as well. Whether he is flying across the ring to hit an opponent in the corner or throwing them up in the air to catch them on the way down, it never misses its mark - and damn, it looks like it hurts. Cesaro can hit you from any position, and you can bet most opponents wish he wouldn’t.

It’s a shame, then, that WWE seems to have already made their mind up about one of their most consistent performers. If given a chance, you get the impression Cesaro could do anything. From trading blows with Sheamus to bullying Sami Zayn, he very rarely puts a foot wrong, and it’s all built on his hard-hitting style.

Let’s just hope he gets more of a chance to show it off.
