10 Harsh Truths Vince McMahon Needs To Understand About WWE Network

8. Comparing To Netflix Isn't Wise

Netflix Now Kinect They have been using the tag line "it's like Netflix...only better" in the past few weeks. It's not something they said in the beginning of the WWE Network, so it's clearly a phrase that somebody recently felt was a good idea. What Netflix provides users is the ability to watch hundreds of different TV shows that are either on the air or used to be. It's not just TV shows, but movies too. They also have their own programs. Earlier this year, reports said that there were 44 million users and those numbers keep going up. The amount of content that Netflix has is what makes people want to pay for it. That's a big issue with WWE Network right now. There's not enough content, especially new stuff, which we'll get to later. It's fair to say that WWE Network operates the same way that Netflix does, but that's where the comparisons really end considering Netflix is being used by over 40 million more users. If a wrestling fan compares WWE to TNA then WWE would likely would feel insulted. That's why WWE shouldn't even mention Netflix.
