10 Harsh Truths Vince McMahon Needs To Understand About WWE Network

5. No Raw Or Smackdown After They Air On Cable

WWE-Raw-logo When the Network launched, a lot of fans had questions about whether or not the new episodes of Raw and Smackdown episodes would be available on it. The answer is no. Maybe if they were on the Network as an on demand service an hour after they aired it would cause more people to get the Network, but it's not going to happen. Since WWE has a contract with NBC Universal (USA Network for Raw, Syfy for Smackdown) they're not allowed to show those programs immediately on WWE Network. It appears as though April editions of Raw & Smackdown are now on there, but it takes about a month for WWE to put them on. That's likely due to contract agreements with NBC Universal that won't allow WWE to put them on their Network sooner. Are fans really interested in watching Raw from a month ago? Probably not. It's not exactly "must see" programming these days.
