10 Harsh Truths Vince McMahon Needs To Understand About WWE Network

3. Old PPVs Are Not A Huge Draw

When the Network first came out, one of the things that WWE pushed heavily was the ability to watch any WWE, WCW or ECW PPV any time you want. It's a great idea for the hardcore wrestling fan that might want to watch some random show from 2003, but this idea that everybody wants to sit around to watch old PPVs all the time is unrealistic. It's more of a once in a while type of thing when there's nothing else on. One of the reasons it's not that appealing to people is because a lot of these shows are available on websites like Youtube or Dailymotion if you're a savvy search engine user. They are really not that hard to find. Maybe the quality won't be the same, but it's also free. The people that only watch Raw casually are not going to be that interested in paying $10 per month to have access to watch old PPVs. They need more of an incentive than that.
