10 Heaviest Wrestlers Of All Time

6. Andre The Giant (520lbs)

Yokozuna WWE Heavy
WWE

Weight In KG: 235.8

Eventually, that's all Andre The Giant was too.

In his prime throughout the late-1970s and early-80s, the still-hefty Andre could perform athletic moves aplenty. He was known for moving around at a remarkable clip for his size, and splashes from the second rope weren't uncommon spot during his bouts. Health problems brought on by his gigantism (and carrying about so much bulk) rendered Andre a pale shadow by the mid-80s.

The giant wrestler could barely walk around the ring without using the ropes to maintain his balance, and he was hunched over whilst gritting his teeth through visible pain. It's sad to see looking back, but Andre was still used as an attraction right up until shortly before his death in 1993.

Reportedly, Andre weighed in at a colossal 520lbs during his final run with the WWF. His health made it challenging to exercise, so the weight piled on and caused even more issues. There will never be another WWE star quite like Andre, that's for sure.
