Much like The Bushwhackers, The Nasty Boys were badass brawlers when they were not in the WWF. And at Slamboree 94, Jerry Sags and Brian Knobbs put on their working boots, and produced possibly the best match of their careers.

Team Nasty took on the rag tag duo of Mick Foley and Kevin Sullivan, and somehow it was a perfect fit for everyone. As soon as both teams were in visible sight of each other they went to war. The wrestling ring be damned! Within the first couple minutes we saw chair shots, trash can attacks and a piledriver on the entry way.

Foley was busted open, he was sprayed with a fire extinguisher and attacked with a light stand so, really, not a bad night for him at all.

It would have been nice had Tony Schiavone and Jesse Ventura not chuckled their way throughout the bout, and maybe taken the thing a bit more seriously, but don’t let that take away from what all four men went through here. It was a great hardcore match that can go toe-to-toe with some of ECW's best, and was probably a lot safer for everyone involved.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
