Everyone with a functional human brain knows that Cesaro is one of the best wrestlers in the world. His WWE résumé is full of outstanding matches with the likes of John Cena, Sami Zayn, and Daniel Bryan. He doesn't often get the chance to showcase his skills in big singles matches, but he always delivers when he does, and it's one of modern wrestling's greatest shames that he still hasn't been afforded a main event run.

While the aforementioned bouts are rightly remembered among the best of WWE's PG Era, Cesaro's clash with Kofi Kingston on a random episode of Main Event stands up to anything else in his back catalogue. It's the strongest singles match of Kofi's career, with much of its quality owing to the 20-minute runtime - a rarity, particularly for Main Event.

Great limb work, big spots, call-backs to their previous match on Raw: the clash had everything, with Kingston outlasting his domineering opponent to leave with his United States Title reign in tact. A PPV-quality bout stuck on a C-show, the only disappointment is that the duo weren't given a bigger stage.
