While seeing Sting and Ric Flair lock up one more time on the final ever episode of Nitro was a special moment, it's likely fair to say that the last actually great match in WCW history was the 2001 Greed PPV's battle for the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championships.

It's pretty easy to forget that these titles actually even existed, and that's largely down to the fact that the belts were only ever in existence for just over a week. But hey, this was at the time when WCW was falling apart at the seams and edging ever closer to closing its doors for good.

Still, before all was said and done with the company, the Filthy Animals tandem of Rey Misterio Jr. and Billy Kidman squared off with Elix Skipper and Kid Romeo in the sort of cruiserweight action that WCW had become so famous for several years prior.

For all intents and purposes, this turned out to be one last hurrah for the cruiserweights of WCW - and it's no surprise that the two best matches on the Greed card were this and Shane Helms defeating Chavo Guerrero Jr. to become the new Cruiserweight Champion.
