Going way back to 1990 for this one, and wrestling fans were treated to a great example of just how to do a well told tag team contest at that year's Great American Bash PPV.

The Midnight Express are hands down one of the greatest tag teams to ever put on a pair of boots, and the pairing of Jim Cornette with 'Beautiful' Bobby Eaton and 'Sweet' Stan Lane made the perfect foil for so many babyface acts - in particular the Rock 'n' Roll Express. Here at the Great American Bash, the Midnight Express found themselves up against the Southern Boys tandem of Tracy Smothers and Scott Armstrong.

The Southern Boys don't have quite the name value as some of the Midnight's other notable opponents, yet these two teams tore it up on this night. Smothers and Armstrong more than held up their side of the bargain, but this was yet another one of those matches where it's impossible not to see just how much Beautiful Bobby and Sweet Stan were forever on the same page.

Bobby Eaton is cited by some as one of the top ten workers of all time, and Bobby was on A-list form during this 1990 Great American Bash battle for the NWA United States Tag Team Championships.
