10 High Flying WWE Stunts You Needed To See To Believe

5. Evan Bourne - Shooting Star Press From Ladder

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ma5eFLDVrRU The Money in the Bank ladder match is one of the most innovating, exciting match concepts ever created. The initial idea was for the prize to be anything the winner wanted and was going to lead to Rob Van Dam bringing back ECW, but when that was scrapped Jericho suggested they make it for a title shot the next night on Raw. Creative head Brian Gerwitz one-upped him saying it should be a guaranteed title shot any time for up to a year. Over the years, Money in the Bank has been the place for crazy spots and for mid-card talent to go all out to try and steal the show. There€™s already been a few examples from Money in the Bank matches on this list, and there€™s also less high-flying orientated moments like Kofi Kingston using a broken ladder as stilts, and Dean Ambrose balancing on a ladder held up by the Real Americans. Possibly the most impressive and breathtakingly beautiful moment in any Money in the Bank match was Evan Bourne€™s Shooting Star Press to the pack of competitors on the floor. It€™s similar to Shelton Benjamin€™s dive, but the Shooting Star Press is notorious for being one of the most dangerous high-flying manoeuvres to accomplish, so for Bourne to be brave enough to pull one off from that high-up is an incredibly impressive achievement.
