10 High Flying WWE Stunts You Needed To See To Believe

4. Kurt Angle - Moonsault From Steel Cage

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9qDSx8OUnA Kurt Angle is simply, one of the greatest professional wrestlers to ever live. In 1996, he won a gold medal at the Olympics for heavyweight freestyle wrestling and transitioned from amateur to professional wrestling quicker than anyone in the history of the sport. Beyond all that, Kurt€™s greatest skill was that he is always doing things he has no business doing. When he came into WWF, he was an American hero, he had no business being a goofy heel, but he was and it was incredibly entertaining. Similarly, he was such an accomplished mat wrestler, he had no business putting his body on the line to entertain the fans, but he did and still does because that€™s just the kind of wrestler that Kurt Angle is. On the Monday 11th June, 2001 episode of Raw, Kurt Angle squared off against long-term rival Chris Benoit inside a steel cage. Halfway through the match, Angle climbed the cage and instead of escaping, he immediately leapt backwards into a moonsault. What€™s truly incredible about this is the amount of courage and/or stupidity Angle must have to willingly throw himself backwards, and fall fifteen feet on his face and the lack of hesitation before he does it is unbelievable. He€™s done it a number of times since, but none will ever top the original.
