A landscape-changing show it may have been, there was no solid knowledge of this beforehand. There was no forecasting the newly-crowned AEW World Champion Kenny Omega running off to IMPACT, nor the AEW arrival of Sting - but by God, were the packed Daily's Place audience living for it.

The 'Icon' was a featured attraction of Dynamite's 9 December broadcast, being welcomed back to the television network that first made him famous. The segment itself was...alright? Not quite as legendary as one would have thought, but it was Sting on TNT in 2020.

None of the broadcast was must-see, but the company was on fire following the seismic shift created by Winter Is Coming that fans tuned in in their droves. Tag team wrestling was the real star. The Young Bucks vs. the Hybrid2 and FTR vs. the Varsity Blonds each highlighted a different strand of the art, the Bucks and TH2 displaying an acrobatic adrenaline rush of endorphins, whereas FTR and the Blonds paid homage to the style utilised throughout the eighties, FTR hammering the opposition in eye-wincing fashion.

Not everything hit, mind; Kenny Omega and Don Callis' promo was essentially their IMPACT rant from 24 hours prior. Had it been original content, it would have been celebrated as a scorching promo.
