10 Highest-Rated AEW Dynamite Episodes So Far

Coming off the back of a hot four episodes throughout July, AEW Dynamite's 4 August broadcast featured a top line-up that wasn't met with such a reception from the Daily's Place audience - or, at least, their clamour of appreciation didn't come across on television.

The line-up wasn't to blame. Malakai Black wrestled his first company match as he decimated Cody Rhodes piece by piece ala Brodie Lee in August 2020, bringing with it Rhodes' apparent retirement.

He returned a mere six weeks later.

Miro's defence of the TNT Championship preceded Black and Rhodes' headliner as he methodically picked apart Lee Johnson in a match reminiscent of the Black/Rhodes style. The oddball trio of Daniel Garcia and 2point0 debuted on Dynamite in a loss to Sting, Darby Allin, and Eddie Kinston that, looking back to even just a few months prior, seemed ludicrous for a random Dynamite in August. On the microphone, the realisation set in that Adam Page really wasn't challenging Kenny Omega at All Out, Page having cut off ties with the Dark Order to work on himself before his attempt to patch things up with the Elite left him a battered mess in the ring.

If your writer ever regenerates as the Doctor, he's travelling back to AEW in the summer of 2021. So beautiful.
