10 Highest-Rated WWE Raw Segments Ever

9. Kane vs. The Undertaker & Big Show (26 July 1999) - 7.81

Again, the WWF almost achieved a ratings war high against WCW during the 26 July 1999 episode. That's impressive when reading that the card featured Triple H beating Ken Shamrock in just shy of four minutes and Chyna/Mr. Ass vs. The Rock in a handicap match that went to a non-finish.

It wouldn't be the only two-on-one that evening.

Earlier, Kane faced both The Undertaker and Big Show in another short handicap effort. Fans must have been excited to see this one, because they tuned in eagerly for the build and kept watching the match itself; the subsequent beat down, including a Road Dogg run in, on Kane was actually longer than the match. Perhaps that sustained fan interest.

A follow-up segment starring Debra McMichael is given as a possible reason for the huge 7.81 rating this quarter hour pulled, but it's also noted that her spot with Jeff Jarrett and Ben Stiller fell in the next quarter. Maybe those flipping channels were eager to see what Stiller (who had been shown earlier) would do on the show.
