10 Hilarious Times WWE Stars Parodied Other Wrestlers
2. D-Generation X Impersonating Vince And Shane McMahon
In the mid-2000s, Triple H and Shawn Michaels decided to 'get the band back together' as it were, and reunite one lineup of their legendary stable, D-Generation X. In keeping with the more light-hearted, family friendly product that the WWE were selling in comparison to the more daring 'Attitude Era', the dynamic duo took to more comic stunts, such as spraying graffiti over Mr McMahon's private jet, writing obscenities on the big screen, and making euphemisms whenever the opportunity arose (see the 'I love Dicks' portion of the below clip). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAPuBM5Tu4I When it came to really making the McMahon rivalry comically personal, the pair took to dressing up as their corporate counterparts, with Triple H mocking Vince's charismatic walking and growling, while Shawn echoed Shane's ridiculous skipping around, as you can see in the below video. The wigs and costumes were hilarious for anyone who was at all familiar with the McMahon family, the subjects of the WWE inheritance, Stephanie's 'mystery' husband (it had never been acknowledged on screen that Stephanie and Hunter were officially married in real life), and even DX themselves. Even Vince's cringeworthy performance of 'Step Back' at the 1987 Slammys got ripped apart. When it came to the McMahon response (see if you can spot a young Dolph Ziggler), DX had a plan up their sleeve for them as well. Perhaps the only time that Monday Night Raw was legitimately 'full of crap' in a literal sense! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KNMSp-8JcA
