10 Hilarious Times WWE Stars Parodied Other Wrestlers
3. Kurt Angle Impersonating John Cena
Another Cena impression, this time in mid-2003 from an Olympic gold medalist. Kurt Angle was preparing to face Brock Lesnar and Big Show at Vengeance for the WWE title, whilst Cena was engaged in his own feud with The Undertaker. Reminiscent of when Cena debuted for the WWE by answering Angle's open challenge to the locker room, the Doctor of Thuganomics again interrupted Angle, laying down some of the confrontational rhymes that were typical of his mid-'00s persona. What happened next was quite unprecedented; Kurt Angle took Cena's hat, invited referee Dave Hebner to the ring to beatbox for him, and well, 'rapped'. It might not have been the same caliber as Eminem or Kanye West, but managing to spit out a casual "You don't scare me, no no no // I may suck, but you just blow" was the best thing to happen on Smackdown in months. Angle might have shown how awful he is at 'getting down with the kids' by making a few questionable pop culture references (Police Academy AND The Jeffersons both featured!), but it was a perfect way to establish both Angle as a fan favourite, and Cena as a heel (those were simpler times). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hhnVPTrruU These two men shared several moments in the ring together and really had great chemistry with one another, right from Cena's debut. It's a shame that Angle didn't stick around in the company for much longer, as the pair could've headlined a Wrestlemania together, and brought out the best in one another. We'll just have to be happy with this clip of two great personalities getting a bit ridiculous with each other on one Friday night in 2003.
