10 Holy Grail WWE Dark Matches You Wish You Could've Seen
6. The Undertaker vs Razor Ramon - Superstars 13/02/1993
Considering how popular they both were during the mid-90s, it is astonishing that Razor Ramon and The Undertaker never had a televised one-on-one match in WWE.
The two titans were supposedly going to face off at WrestleMania XI, but those plans were scrapped in favour of turning Ramon heel. They shared the ring on Raw in 2002, but as part of the same team in a 3-on-2 handicap match.
They had singles matches on the house show circuit in 1992, but the closest they ever came to TV cameras was prior to an episode of Superstars in 1993. The show, which featured Shawn Michaels, Crush, and Lex Luger among others, had multiple dark matches, including a world title bout between Bret Hart and Bam Bam Bigelow.
Taker and Razor fought to a count out victory for the Deadman, giving the San Jose, California crowd just seven-and-a-half minutes to savour their collective star power.
Considering that Ramon's match against Jeff Jarrett and Taker's fight with King Kong Bundy at Mania XI were both thoroughly pedestrian, this feels like even more of a missed opportunity.
