5. Dean Ambrose: Thank God For AEW

All Elite Wrestling is a godsend, and if that scans as biased, go back and watch Dean Ambrose's work in late 2018.

It is impossible for anybody to prefer it to the work of Jon Moxley, with the exception of the shoot lunatics who would put over their own mother getting mugged if Michael Cole commentated over the footage.

"Yes, my mother suffered a horrendous ordeal, but it at least it drew over a million viewers [multiple cry-laugh emojis]."

Those shoot lunatics, and Vince McMahon. That's it.

The material was objectively appalling. Cast as a man so disgusted by the "vermin" fans that they had turned him into a germaphobe, this was "Each and every one of you" bit with a woefully childish "...stinks" bit tacked onto the end.

That was Larry Zbysko turns on Bruno Sammartino-grade material in contrast to Ambrose telling Roman Reigns that, by enduring a recurrence of leukaemia, he had answered to the man upstairs. This was truly reprehensible stuff, and the worst of it is that Ambrose - per his legendary appearance on Talk Is Jericho - was actually asked to say something even worse. Jon Moxley is infinitely better than Dean Ambrose.

Jon Moxley has a 99.9% hit rate, but about that 0.1%...
