Most wrestling fans know the story of Darren Drozdov -- better known simply as Droz. Sadly, Droz is probably best remembered for his appearance in the 1999 pro wrestling documentary, Beyond the Mat. In it, Droz has an infamous meeting with Vince McMahon and Jim Ross, where Vince has decided to package him as Puke. Droz had the innate ability to vomit on command, and McMahon demands a demonstration. Fans undoubtedly remember Vinces incessant screaming of Hes gonna puke! Droz had a short run with the World Wrestling Federation. He debuted in 1998 as Puke, but that gimmick didnt last long. He was quickly paired up with the Legion of Doom, inserting himself into Hawks alcohol abuse storyline -- an angle that was heavily based on Hawks real life problems. He even found himself teaming with Animal for a short while as the newest member of the L.O.D. Sadly, Drozs career would come to a sudden end just one year after his debut. During a Smackdown taping in October of 99, Droz competed against DLo Brown. Brown attempted to powerbomb Droz, and thats when something went drastically wrong. There seem to be conflicting feelings on what exactly happened, but there is apparently no ill will between Droz and DLo. Droz was dropped on his head, fracturing two disks in his neck. The bright, young superstar was left a quadriplegic from that point forward.

He has no backup plan to speak of, yet maintains his abnormally high spirits. If he had only listened to the scorn of his childhood teachers, he wouldn't be in this situation.
