10 Hottest Free Agents LEFT In Wrestling Today

3. Joey Ryan

Jon Moxley Joey Ryan
Lucha Underground

Joey Ryan will almost certainly become an All Elite Wrestling employee within the next few months.

While WWE reportedly reached out to him earlier in the year, this was almost certainly a move done to stifle competition. Can you imagine the PG version of this professional d*ck-flipper? It wouldn't work. Ryan would be watered down, and everything that makes his act so popular what be lost.

Rather than drowning in the shallow end of WWE's family-friendly pool, expect Ryan's imminent AEW arrival. Finally free of his restrictive AEW contract, there's nothing preventing him from signing a deal, and with both him and the Being The Elite crew teasing it, it'd be a huge shock if he didn't end up there.

Until then, Ryan has earned his place near the top of our list. He isn't to everyone's tastes, but people who love the 'King Of Sleaze' really love him. He has built an immense following throughout his time on the indies, too, and likely makes more money than many wrestlers under WWE employ, much to the chagrin of his most curmudgeonly critics.
