4. Shawn Spears

WWE let Tye Dillinger go in a rare moment of charitability earlier this year, with the former 'Perfect 10' posting an impassioned Twitter update to appear to his employers' better nature on 20 February. He was gone two days later, having turned down a substantial pay rise to stick around, and now looks set to embark upon the kind of independent run that wantaway stars Luke Harper, Sasha Banks, and The Revival can only dream of as they rot in Titan Towers.

Reverting to his old "Shawn Spears" ring name, it'll be interesting to see what the 38-year-old can do now that he's free. Spears had been part of WWE's system since 2013. He was also with the company's Ohio Valley Wrestling, Florida Championship Wrestling, and ECW offshoots between 2006 and 2009. He has spent 9 of the last 13 years working WWE's house style, and while the Canadian does have indie experience, it may take some time before he's able to adapt.

Spears has already announced his first few bookings for when his non-compete clause expires. He's a driven, talented, and charismatic guy who should have plenty to offer, so fingers crossed he takes off again.
