6. Daniel Bryans Road To The WWE Championship (2013)
After Team Hell No lost the WWE Tag Team Championships to The Shield, Daniel Bryan began to believe that he was the weak link of the team, and seemed determined to prove people wrong. One night in Hartford, CT, in June of 2013, Bryan wrestled two matches, the latter of the two being against Ryback, who was being pushed as a monster heel at the time, and Bryan had hurt himself in the previous match. This showed the WWE fans his grit and determination, and they began to latch onto Bryan for more than just his Yes! catchphrase. Bryans rise culminated in a huge street fight victory against Randy Orton on Raw (Bryan was supposed to win a singles match a couple weeks earlier, but Triple H legit stopped it from backstage, leading to a little blowup between Bryan and Hunter).
