10 Huge AEW Double Or Nothing 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

1. Stadium Stampede: The Elite and Matt Hardy vs. The Inner Circle

Stadium Stampede
AEW

This should headline over Moxley vs. Lee and Cody vs. Archer on the basis that it's the hottest thing in AEW right now and comes crammed with the most star power.

The Elite vs. The Inner Circle has always been simmering in this promotion, though it hasn't always featured at the forefront. Now, with Blood and Guts postponed until the world goes back to normal, we have their first major showdown - and in a crazy gimmick match. No countouts, no disqualifications, falls count anywhere, and a wrestling ring in the middle of an empty football stadium? Sounds tremendous.

The babyfaces have much to avenge here. Chris Jericho and his boys tried to take Kenny Omega out on the go-home Dynamite, leading to Hangman Page and The Young Bucks returning. The brothers Jackson have a particularly big bone to pick after the Inner Circle squashed Nick's face under a garage door. Matt Hardy, meanwhile, is still reeling from the loss of his close, personal friend Vanguard 1, while there's still plenty to explore with the Page tension as well.

A heel victory wouldn't be the worst thing, though it's about time The Elite seized some shine in their own promotion.

Winners: The Elite and Matt Hardy.
