Plenty of options here, with some more exciting than others.

A full-time roster member like Christopher Daniels or Wardlow would be dull, as we see these people every week, though PAC somehow escaping his UK quarantine would spike excitement. Travelling issues make this extremely unlikely.

The sexiest choices are those currently not on the AEW payroll, though the tricky economic situation limits what the promotion can do here. Similarly, the likes of Rusev have 90-day non-compete clauses to get through. The former 'Bulgarian Brute' isn't showing up on Saturday.

Ricky Starks recently left the NWA and should absolutely end up in AEW by year's end, though he lacks the name value to be a satisfying surprise. Drew Gulak is possible, as he doesn't have a non-compete, but he, too, lacks star power. Brian Cage? A great idea that depends on his injury status. A Revolt member? Nah, they'll be brought in as a tag team.

This brings us to a man who has already appeared for AEW this year and is currently stuck at home with nothing to do, having been consigned to the sidelines by ROH and NJPW's inactivity.

Prediction: Jeff Cobb.
