10 HUGE AEW Revolution 2023 Predictions You Need To Know

4. The Elite (c) Vs. The House Of Black

CM Punk
WWE

A dream match on paper without ever feeling like on on television, the lack of powerful and potent storytelling between the two sides has been a difficult development to unpack lately.

Kenny Omega is only still with All Elite Wrestling right now because an injury has extended his stay. January 2024 has become the new renewal date, and might this lack of commitment be something to do with the EVPs not particularly feeling like they're a vital part of the show right now? Could an impending locker room shift (more on that later) be contributing to that too? Or is this just the level of angle advancement we're supposed to expect from The Elite as long as their trios Champions?

Regardless of everything happening off-screen, a lack of televised interest in what's sure to be a total ripper on the night has actually made this more unpredictable. The House Of Black don't feel like hot challengers, but is that as much about the division as it is themselves? A change would do all this uncertainty good, and kicking off with a killer victory might give Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews the best chance of lifting a curse that's been across these straps since they were launched.

Winners - The House Of Black
