10 HUGE AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

7. Will Ospreay (c) Vs. Orange Cassidy

Forbidden Door
AEW

Whenever dream cards are discussed, mirror matches often overwhelm actual ideas and concepts that would simply make far more sense.

This may seem hypocritical in the aftermath of mourning the loss of Zack Sabre Jr Vs Bryan Danielson, but every case has its merits, and in this particular one there is a quiet genius to Will Ospreay Vs Orange Cassidy.

A spiritual sequel to the universally praised and beloved Cassidy Vs PAC match from Revolution 2020, it's the easiest match to fantasy book but the hardest to figure out. The early portions should feature the Best Friends member using his laid back demeanour to frustrate Ospreay and his worst adolescent impulses, before both fire into life to generate a p*ssing contest featuring one guy with his hands in his pockets.

You'd be forgiven for not realising but Ospreay's United States Championship is on the line here, which foreshadows the result somewhat. That's probably just one of the reasons it's been absent from screens in the build.

Winner - Will Ospreay
