10 HUGE AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

3. Jay White (c) Vs. Kazuchika Okada Vs. "Hangman" Adam Page Vs. Adam Cole

The hope here is that something beautiful can blossom from something frustrating, disjointed and ugly.

Kazuchika Okada’s appearance on the go-home Dynamite was a mixed blessing rather than the sensory overload everybody has predicted and projected since cracks of light shone through the Forbidden Door back in 2020. The response was massive, for sure, but rooted entirely in Okada’s star power rather good booking or an engaging journey to the pay-per-view.

Hangman Page and Adam Cole working their way into a title shot Champion Jay White had said he wasn’t going to offer up was weird, this being a four-way is weird, and the prospect of the IWGP Championship ending up around the waist of an AEW wrestler hasn’t been fleshed out enough to manifest the moment in advance.

This does, however, have four exceptional wrestlers that will likely be given time and a good spot on the card to make this one of the more memorable outings of the night.

Having only lost it weeks earlier, this is the time and place for Okada to win the belt back, if only to facilitate a shock return for Kenny Omega and a stare-down capable of selling out next year’s event too.

Winner - Kazuchika Okada
