10 Huge Consequences Of John Cena WWE Injury

3. No Locker Room Leader

John Cena was the locker room leader, at least in terms of full-time stars. He'd often go to bat for the boys, using his sway with Vince McMahon to put forward the interests of the locker room. He could do that, as one of the few people who was able to be in Vince's office as well as the locker room. One guy who he really stuck up for was Cesaro, a guy who he has a ton of respect for. He also stuck up for CM Punk over the years, helping him become a major player when Vince and co. perhaps didn't see him as such. The locker room needs that, it needs a guy who is in a position to call Vince McMahon out on stuff. If the boss isn't accountable to his staff, then morale and performance can suffer as a result. With Cena gone, there's no one to fulfil that go-between leadership role. The full-time roster is in many cases young, or scared to rock the boat. A big consequence of Cena's injury is that the backstage environment may now not be as good, and may lack leadership. The negatives of that could lead to big problems for WWE.
