10 HUGE Predictions For Independent Wrestling After ALL IN

9. The Last Of The Lucha Bros

The Lucha Brothers' prominent ALL IN card placement was a fair reward for the work they've put forth since breaking out as part of Lucha Underground's first season a few years ago. Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. are everywhere, and with both playing prominent roles in at least half-a-dozen promotions, they were given the chance to shine in the main event and versus Kenny Omega respectively, lighting Chicago up with their vast, varied skillsets.

Now among the world's hottest wrestling commodities, the duo's future is suddenly in doubt. Per Dave Meltzer in a recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Lucha Bros have already told promoters that they may not be able to fulfil previously agreed 2019 dates, which likely means one thing: WWE are circling.

Vince McMahon doesn't exactly have a shining track record when it comes to booking masked wrestlers. Pentagon should be particularly concerned, as the fearsome skeleton ninja would surely be undone on the main roster. Still, for the Chairman, signing the Lucha Bros may simply be a case of depriving the indie scene of two of its brightest assets. It makes sense from the standpoint, but it'd be a shame to see them go.
