10 Huge Signings WWE Must Make In 2018

3. Bobby Lashley

It was reported earlier this week that Bobby Lashley will almost certainly return to WWE at some point in the new year. While this will likely provoke eye-rolls from those who only know him for his previous run with the company, he has quietly developed into one of the bet powerhouses in the business in Impact, where he has been a constant highlight during some of their most difficult periods.

Believability is Lashley's biggest improvement. Pushed way over his head when he was last with WWE, Bobby was way too green for his lofty card position, giving the impression he'd only been pushed for his look. It was impossible to buy into him as a result, but those days are long gone. Now, Lashley finally comes off like a legitimate dual-sport badass, with his MMA run adding to his intimidation factor. If he lands in WWE again, expect a monster push from the get-go. Lashley has finally developed into the performer Vince McMahon wanted him to be a decade ago.

He'll be a bitter loss to Impact, but an immediate main event player on Raw and SmackDown, though he can't have long left at 41 years old.
