10 Huge Signings WWE Must Make In 2021

7. Trey Miguel

Speaking of recent releases from Impact Wrestling, The Rascalz trio of Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel departed the company in the middle of November after a highly impressive two years spent in the Impact Zone. Surprisingly, though, Miguel was nowhere to be seen when Xavier and Wentz were announced as WWE Performance Center recruits.

Many have pointed towards this as a sign he isn't WWE bound - or could it be a swerve?

There's a strong possibility that 'The Fresh Prince of Mid-Air' will end up in WWE alongside his Rascalz brethren at some point, regardless of when it happens. WWE would be foolish to only chase two-thirds of the group. While Dez and Wentz are undoubtedly phenomenal in-ring talents in their own right, there's no denying Trey is the stand-out singles performer of the trio.

His 2020 Impact career was perfect evidence. The matches he's had with Ace Austin, Moose, and as part of the Slammiversary main event showcased Miguel at his greatest. With The Rascalz likely ending up in NXT before the main roster, Miguel would no doubt be a go-to for a traditional TakeOver spotfest.

It doesn't really matter where Trey ends up because he'll soar wherever he goes, but he just needs to join his Rascalz brothers again. It wouldn't be right any other way after the career they carved out in Impact.
